Data Warehouse Design

Learn how to model Relational vs. Dimensional table design; how to design the ETL process; and when to use slowly changing dimensions.

Charles Tournear, Senior Consultant at Result Data, will lead a session that will look at the differences between Relational Database modeling and Dimensional Database modeling. We will look at the ETL process needed to move data from relational to dimensional databases and look at how and when to use slowly changing dimensions in the data warehouse design and the ETL process.
